The Helping Paws Dogs Show is designed to encourage the adoption of dogs from shelters. The goal is to raise funds for a local shelter, Project Halo, a no-kill shelter, while giving the public an opportunity to adopt dogs during the event.
The Helping Paws Dog Show is the brainchild of 13-year-old Brooke Phillips, whose family adopted Roxie (pictured left with her favorite teddy bear) from Project Halo on Brooke's 10th Birthday. Ever since, she had been eager to help other families and dogs find each other.
